Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund

The Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund was made possible by a generous donation from Jack R. MacDonald. The fund honours his legacy of support to the former Village of Elora. For many years, Mr. MacDonald donated to fund projects in Elora. The Jack R. MacDonald Charitable Trust was created upon his death in 2013. The Township of Centre Wellington was one of five organizations that received funds from the trust. Seed money for the Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund came from a donation from the trust fund.

CWCF’s Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund Grants are aimed at providing grants up to a maximum of $5,000 in 2025 to registered charitable organizations to support projects that will have a positive impact within the former Village of Elora boundaries.
