Welcoming Judy Foster Our New Executive Director

Centre Wellington Community Foundation (CWCF) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Judy Foster as our new Executive Director. She succeeds Raymond Soucy who recently retired.

Judy will lead our Foundation’s work to grow its impact to benefit Centre Wellington. “The Foundation’s incredible legacy established in its short history is inspiring. Currently, Centre Wellington charities are facing increasing pressures and evolving needs. We aim to respond and provide engaged grantmaking to support Centre Wellington,” said Foster.

“In 2023, we provided unprecedented levels of granting, funding 22 initiatives totalling over $304,000. In addition to collaborating with our donors and local nonprofits, partnership with Community Foundations of Canada and Government of Canada enabled us to bring our largest grants ever via the Community Services Recovery Fund to our community,” stated Randall Howard, CWCF Board Chair. Judy is an advocate for collaboration and partnership and will continue to strengthen our Foundation in this area.

Judy is a graduate of Western University. She is a seasoned non profit leader with more than 25 years of experience in multiple disciplines of higher education, arts and health. Judy is passionate about innovating new strategies to help increase charitable impact. She is a lifelong volunteer, having volunteered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, and Block Parents.

Judy is meeting with key community leaders and would love to hear from you.
